Either a portable tail or more holes i think would probably take care of the issues...
I know this idea can be dangerous while experimenting and requires a wiser person but the promise would be the greatest!
Imagine freedom from the constraints of daily jobs but you have to make sure you don't attract the bugs when out!
The problem with this would be how to ensure the roots of the tail do not invade the human host and cause damage. There is also the problem with the actual plant species available today since they do not provide daily fruits. Usually you would have to wait for much longer than a day.
There's however another way to this! If a human could learn to deconstruct and construct their bodies however they like, then more secret doors could open up and this or much better evolved form would be achievable!
Why embarrassment though? Embarrassment since all other animals supposedly do have tails...?
