Comments

I've played games on about a dozen different computer systems. But (your exclusion list).. Zork I, II and III were text based, and quite legit games at the time. Also cost real bucks.

I like pinball machines, but hardly see them anymore. Only had 2 at the arcade I last worked at..

Never heard of the Zork series before. Well, I'm note quite sure but I think I've never completed a text based game :(
Also I suck at pinball machines...
Sorry for the disappointing reply :(

Zork was legendary... in the mid 1980's |: Oh well, at least there's modern equivalents
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/527379

Now that I remember, I played/completed that game. So this was the modern Zork, I guess??

Speaking of Zork, I have 'The Return of Zork' (I think that's what it was called) on CD, but I never had an OS that could run it!

This was a nice list o games, some real classics like Day of the tentacle and Maniac Mansion (I have that on a floppy - incredible games were so small back then!). How far are you on Advance Wars? I've been keeping an eye out for GameBoy Wars (the prequel) for a long time, but it seems pretty rare. Doesn't seem like that much fun either but it'd be fun to own...

Btw, no Doom 2 on the list? How about other FPS games? Seems like you're more into adventure and brawlers, whereas I grew up with mainly FPSs, like Doom, Quake, Marathon, Castle Wolfenstein, Bloodrayne, Oni, SiN, Advent Rising, Half-Life...

I recognize plenty of these btw, played maybe a fourth.

Too bad for you. What if I get an OS for the game, how much would you spend on it (not to be taken seriously) :P

I still haven't posted the full list yet, it took me like an hour of typing and editing (I had a funny time remembering all of them games)

I should replay this game from the beginning, my bad :(

Do you recommend me replaying doom at this moment??
Speaking of FPS, I played none of the games you mentioned except for Quake, Doom 1 and Half-Life, never got to complete any :(

lol, well it's a game I bought second-hand (I used to buy a lot of games second hand) that I didn't know about at the time so it's not that important! I think it's available through GOG too... if I ever really really want to try it. :)

Ah, if it took that long for this list... I don't even want to imagine how it'd be to write mine.! :D Guess it'd be easy to write down all the games I have though, they're all nearby and readily available...

Oh, so you've played through AW already?!

Hmm... if you like FPS games, then I'd definitely recommend replaying it. Though if you do, i'd reccomend using a port like GZDoom or Risen3D, it'd add a lot to the gaming experience, even if Vanilla Doom is a great game it doesn't feel the same after you've played it with the visual enhancements (bump-mapping, dynamic lightning, that kind of modern stuff).

Please, no, I don't have enough time to list all the games I've played.
